Terms for professionals
These apply to a professional account on ProIQTest, in addition to the site's terms of use. Last changed 12 September 2026.
1. What the test is
ProIQTest is a sixty-item test of non-verbal reasoning in the format of Raven's Progressive Matrices. Scores are age-normed against the people who have taken the test online, which is a self-selected sample, not a standardisation sample. The test has not been validated as a clinical or educational instrument.
2. What it may be used for
As a screening measure, a first look, or a comparison of the same person over time. It is not a diagnostic instrument and it does not replace a standardised, individually administered assessment. No decision about a person — clinical, educational, or about employment — should rest on this test alone. You are responsible for how you use it and for what you conclude.
3. The people you test
You confirm that each person knows they are taking a test and has agreed to it, or that a parent or guardian has where that is required. You identify people only by a label of your own — initials or a reference — and you do not enter names, contact details, health information or anything else about them. The label field is short for that reason.
4. Your account
One account per professional, in your own name. You keep the password to yourself. We may close an account that is used to identify people, to test people without their knowledge, or in a way that misrepresents what the test is.
5. The analysis
The score is free. For professional accounts the full analysis of a result is free as well.
6. Data
What we hold about the people you test, and what we do with it, is set out in the data processing agreement, which you accept with these terms. Removing a person from your account removes the label from their results; the results stay as an age and an answer sheet with nothing attached.
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
8. Changes
We may change these terms; the date at the top moves when we do, and continued use after a change is acceptance of it.
